The Killeen Police Department is asking for help from the public concerning three cold cases.  These crimes are not believed to be related, they involve children who have been reported missing, possibly abducted.  In one case the victim’s body was recovered several days after the abduction in rural Bell County.  Killeen Crime Stoppers supports the efforts of the police department in bringing these cases to a conclusion, and will pay $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in any of these cases.

 

Jenna Ray Robbins Stranger abduction

On May 14, 1989 Jenna was 9 years old.  At approximately 5:30 pm Jenna Robbins was playing outside her home.  A light colored vehicle stopped and she went to the car.  She got into the vehicle and has never been seen again.  A witness described the driver of the vehicle as a white male in his early 20’s with brown hair.

Deanna Michelle Merryfield, White, Female 13 years old

Deanna Merryfield was last seen in the 500 block of Dimple Ave on July 23, 1990 at approximately 3:30 am.   She had left her home without permission.  She was seen getting into a dark colored 4 door vehicle.  There were two males, possible Hispanic, in the vehicle.  Deanna Merryfield has never been seen again.  When Deanna became missing she was 5:04” tall, weighing 115 lbs.  She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Danydia Thompson, age 7

On April 30, 1997, 7 year old Danydia Thompson was walking to school.  She was being carried away by a black male.  She did not appear to be in distress when she was carried.  A witness provided a sketch of the male that was seen carrying Danydia.  Several days later the body of Danydia was found along South Highway 195.    The suspect in this case has been described as a black male, dark skin, short afro, 25- 26 years old, 5’10” tall 150 lbs,
